Bomb scare at Santa Cruz domestic airport
MUMBAI: Passengers were held up for about an hour after an unclaimed bag was found near the VIP entrance of Terminal 1B of Santa Cruz airport on Sunday.
On searching, however, only clothes were found inside the bag.
The airport police said they had received a phone call at around 4.30 pm about the unclaimed luggage, soon after which they directed apssengers to stay at least 100 metres away from the bag.
Bomb experts were pressed into service. Airport authorities have so far failed to confirm if any flights have been rescheduled.
